So I was in the other room getting so much done thinking how well Lacey was playing in the play room. She was being so quiet and well behaved........ That is when I should have known, she was into Sammie's make-up! She came out looking so pretty, and very proud of herself!

My Mother's Day! What a great day! I had to post this before I went to sleep. It was a wonderful day, I have wonderful children and a wonderful husband! I slept in, didn't cook, and got presents. Who could ask for more? I love Mothers, what would we do without them? My mom has my kids tonight, even on Mother's Day she is serving me. I am so grateful to live around such amazing mothers and grandmothers. I hope one day I can live up to their example! I love my family, they mean so much to me.
Thank-you for all you do for me, and making this the BEST Mother's Day EVER!

Making Granola With Mom!
Last week, over Spring Break, Sammie and Caleb had some awesome sleep overs at their Swain cousin's houses! So it left Lacey and I home alone for two days! Wow, she missed the kids. :) I thought it would be a good time to make granola. Lacey had a blast 'helping' me. It was a mess, but so cute and fun! She loved eating it the best! (Don't we all?)

We finally broke out our fire pit for the year! Much to every one's delight! It was a little cold, but we survived. Sarah and Jon even came out, it was a fun night!

Twister

Twister!
Playing inside games waiting for the weather to get nice! Today is twister.
Not too much happening around here. Lacey has been sick :(. That has taken most of my time this week.
A couple weeks ago Cody and I went to Long Beach for the weekend. Thank-you to Sarah and Jon for holding down our fort! It was a blast. A much needed vacation!

Christmas was so fun this year! Sammie fell over with excitement with every present, Caleb jumped up and down for his 'town', and Lacey loved the getting into everything!

A highlight of this Christmas season was Sammie being in the Nutcracker Ballet. She was an angel. She performed with the Utah Regional Ballet and did an excellent job! She put put in MANY hours of practice. We are so proud of her. She is looking forward to getting back to ballet after the holiday break.
We had a wonderful Christmas filled with family time. (Something we have all needed). I was a little slow with my knee. I had surgery on the 14th. (Good old indoor soccer!) It ended up being a torn ACL :(. So I am now hobbling around, trying to recover. Other than that, it really has been a wonderful holiday season this year. We are so blessed and are grateful for the Savior in our lives.

At the midnight showing of New Moon! I went with my sister's; Sarah, Rose, and Emma. What a blast.! We stayed up way too late, ate far too much popcorn, and laughed the entire night! And to add to it the movie was great. On my scale way better than the first one. Of course the books will always be better, but it was a good interpretation. I think I am still feeling the effects of missing sleep that night, but it was definitely worth it!

Just wanted to welcome Caroline Gail Spears into our family! Rhonda delivered a healthy baby girl on October 7th. She was 20" long and weighed 7lbs. 1 oz. We are so happy to have her, just sad she lives so far away!

Caleb went to the pumpkin patch last week. He told me he wanted to pick a pumpkin to make pumpkin pie with! This is him proudly displaying is pumpkin. How could I say no to that? So needless to say I learned how to make fresh pumpkin pie! (A little longer than regular, but surprisingly not hard!)

And much to our relief it turned out great. That night we all enjoyed a fresh, delicious, pumpkin pie! Thank-you Caleb!

Well I think I am officially the world's slowest blogger! My goal is once a month- so all of you out there that check it more often than that- sorry! This month has been another busy one. We went on a beautiful ride over General Conference Weekend! We drove the Nebo Loop. How beautiful! And yes at the top it was snowing!! Fall is such a beautiful time of year, we try to go outside as much as possible.
Sammie is getting settled into her new school routine. I should say we all are! Lacey loves to eat all the leaves, sticks, and rocks she can. I keep telling Cody she is a full time job!! :) Caleb is my big helper. What a joy to have in our home!
As for my foot- I broke my pinkie toe a week after my last blog (ouch!) And my second game back I pulled the ligaments in my knee! The(250+ lb.) goalie slide tackled me, and I wasn't expecting it! Anyway- it's not broken. Taking a week off then possibly an MRI next week- fun! :( I guess that's my three. (Don't bad things come in threes?)
Other than my hobbling around the house we are happy and well. Cody is busy as ever. Thank you for your comments! Hope to be better with the posts.....

This summer has been busy to say the least! I don't even think I could get it all in! I'll give you a few highlights from August. On the 15th Sammie turned six! She had a Hanna Montana party. It was a blast! We had a house full of six year five and six year old girls. (Cody hid out in the play room with Lacey mostly, not that I blame him!).
Then Two weeks later I had a birthday. Sarah and Cody threw me a surprise party! All my family was there. (Rhonda and crew were not, but she was in on it!) I had no idea. We ate, laughed, and stayed up way too late. :) the next day, was my actual birthday, we had a soccer game, and I scored!!! It was awesome, then all the girls on the team scored. (not a usual occurrence!) After Rose scored the ref turned to ma and said/asked- "all your girls scored?!" It was awesome! It would have been the perfect day if it had ended there....BUT with one and a half minuets left in the game, my foot got stomped on. The concrete under the indoor field is not very forgiving, as a result I have been nursing a huge bruise on the top of my left foot! It even took me out of a big race planned last weekend- ah such is life. But all in all it was a great month!
A shout out to Sarah- with out her my seldom entries would become nonexistent entries!

I have to start out by saying this post is primarily due to Sarah- and her daily comments about the lack of up-dates! So- all you viewers out there, you can thank her!
This weekend we went to the cabin. It was beautiful and fun! We were able to spend some time in the mountains and enjoy being together. We also got to see a cow moose right after she had her baby- that was cool! We went on walks and Cody spent most of his day pushing the kids on the swings!! I think there is something therapeutic about the mountains.

Sammie lost her first teeth! (With a trip to the dentist.) She had two of her bottom teeth pulled today- and is very proud of them! She is off to school to show her friends and get her name on the tooth wall.

I have missed so much- it is the day to blog! Caleb did Itty-Bitty Ball at the Legacy Center this month. They played baseball, football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball. It was so cute to watch him play! His cousin Kaden was in his class- so that was fun. When I asked Caleb his favorite part he said- Running!! :) He is so fun to have and is always making us laugh.

THREE MONTHS!!! I can't believe she is growing so fast. These were taken on her 'three month day' . Lacey is such a joy to have. She is now sharing a room with big sister, Sammie. That is working out great! She is a happy baby, and is adored by her big brother and sister!

We took pictures of the kids yesterday! Lacey was not so happy to be there. Caleb and Sammie did a great job and tried to be patient with their little sister. Maybe now I can get a picture of the three of them on the wall... Lacey is almost three months old and I have no pictures up of her! Definitely the third child :)! All in all a good day.

Well I did it! I finally entered the twenty-first century and created a blog! (We got cable last week and I am feeling in the 'modern' mood.) So no promises, but we will see how I do at posting. As it is right now, Lacey is sleeping in my arms(yes, a bit awkward for typing), Caleb just woke up from his nap, and I have to leave in a few to get Sammie from school, so this will be short and sweet :).
